Finding their way in space!

Students from six secondary schools across London have been taking part in the Noosfera project Discovery within a week. The students, this week were building on their understanding from last week by cementing their understanding of locating celestial bodies using the coordinate system Right Ascension and Declination. The students looked at Azimuth and Altitude to understand the difference between this system and which they would use to communicate with. The students explored the magnitude system using the stars in the constellation Orion.
