Young astronomer

The project ‘Discovery within a week’ brings its first results. This project allows young fans of astronomy to make real discoveries. By using a unique method it is possible to discover new asteroids or variable stars. The students receive basic knowledge and then start making remote observations on telescopes located in the USA and Australia.

Our young researcher, Platon Kachalin, made his first discoveries and received a certificate from our Foundation. We wish Platon to go only forward in his efforts, to pursue astronomy, and to make more and more discoveries!
